Equal Opportunities Policy
Infinity Quest, our commitment to fairness, dignity and inclusion. This policy applies to every aspect of our business and to everyone we work with, across all of our locations.
Last updated · 1 July 2026
1. Policy statement
InfinityQuest Limited (“InfinityQuest”, “IQ”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all employees, workers, contractors, candidates and clients. We believe that a genuinely inclusive workplace strengthens our teams, our client relationships and the quality of the work we deliver. Discrimination, harassment, bullying and victimisation of any kind will not be tolerated.
2. Purpose and scope
This policy sets out our commitment to equal opportunities and applies to every aspect of our business, including recruitment and selection, terms of engagement, training and development, promotion, pay and benefits, and the day-to-day conduct of our workplace.
It applies to all employees, workers, contractors and agency staff engaged by Infinity Quest, across all of our locations in the UK, Poland, India and Germany, and to our conduct with candidates, clients and suppliers.
3. Legal framework
This policy reflects the principles of the UK Equality Act 2010 and equivalent local legislation in the jurisdictions in which we operate. Under the Equality Act 2010, it is unlawful to discriminate against employees, workers or job applicants because of any of the following protected characteristics:
- Age
- Disability
- Gender reassignment
- Marriage and civil partnership
- Pregnancy and maternity
- Race, including colour, nationality, and ethnic or national origin
- Religion or belief
- Sex
- Sexual orientation
Beyond the statutory minimum
InfinityQuest extends the spirit of this protection to all forms of unfair treatment, including on the basis of socio-economic background, caring responsibilities, or any other characteristic unrelated to a person's ability to do their job.
4. Our commitments
Recruitment and selection. Recruitment decisions are based solely on merit, skills, qualifications and experience relevant to the role. Job advertisements, criteria and interview processes are designed to avoid any unnecessary or unjustifiable barriers to entry, and interview panels are trained to recognise and avoid unconscious bias wherever practicable.
Terms of engagement and progression. Decisions relating to pay, benefits, promotion, training and development opportunities are made fairly and consistently, based on individual performance and potential, without regard to any protected characteristic.
Reasonable adjustments. We will make reasonable adjustments to remove or reduce disadvantage faced by disabled employees, workers or candidates, for example adjustments to interview format, working arrangements, or physical or digital accessibility, in line with our legal obligations.
Flexible and inclusive working. We support flexible working arrangements where operationally feasible, recognising that individuals may have differing needs related to caring responsibilities, health, religious observance or personal circumstances.
5. Preventing harassment, bullying and victimisation
InfinityQuest is committed to providing a working environment free from harassment, bullying and victimisation. This includes unwanted conduct related to a protected characteristic that violates a person's dignity, or creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment, whether in person, in writing, or online.
Anyone who believes they have experienced or witnessed harassment, bullying or victimisation is encouraged to raise the matter, without fear of reprisal, through the process set out in Section 7.
6. Responsibilities
Leadership. Our founder and senior leadership are responsible for setting the tone for an inclusive culture, ensuring this policy is communicated and upheld, and allocating the resources necessary to implement it effectively.
Managers. Managers are responsible for applying this policy fairly and consistently within their teams, for challenging inappropriate behaviour, and for supporting anyone who raises a concern.
Everyone. All employees, workers and contractors are expected to treat colleagues, candidates, clients and suppliers with dignity and respect, and to comply with this policy at all times.
7. Raising a concern
Anyone who believes this policy has not been followed, or who wishes to raise a concern relating to equality, discrimination or harassment, should raise the matter with their manager, or, where this is not appropriate, at hello@i-q.co. All concerns will be treated seriously, investigated promptly, and handled with appropriate confidentiality. Infinity Quest will not tolerate victimisation of anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
8. Breaches of this policy
Any employee, worker or contractor found to have breached this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or engagement, in accordance with our disciplinary procedures.
9. Monitoring and review
InfinityQuest will periodically review the effectiveness of this policy, including through voluntary and anonymised diversity monitoring where appropriate, to identify and address any barriers to equality of opportunity. This policy will be reviewed at least annually, or sooner if required by a change in legislation or our business.
